Shell+

Shell+ is the core of SleepRT. It is based on a workflow model. The workflow is adaptable to customer, personal and/or group needs.

Configuration settings of SleepRT are centrally controlled.

Ongoing recordings are instantaneous visible in Shell+.

Requests are entered manually or received as HL7 messages.

Shell+ maintains its own patient database.

Shell+ organizes the Archive on DVD, Blu-Ray or on the Hospital Data Management systems (on-line archive).

Shell+ has the ability to import and export a large number of data formats.

Export to Matlab in real-time is supported, giving opportunity to the user for customized real-time analyses.

HL7

Information is exchanged between Shell+ and the Hospital Information System.

• Patient data are obtained from HIS based on Patient ID (Query-Response coupling)

• Measurement data are obtained from HIS based on Request ID (Query-Response coupling)

• Shell+ searches for patient information, based on patient ID, name, date of birth or sex

• Reports are sent to HIS (three options: Full text in Word, selected text in Word or full text in PDF)

• Patient data are kept up to date with unsolicited messages from HIS

• Request information is kept up to date with unsolicited messages from HIS
